Nepal is sovereign country in the lap of Sagarmatha , Nepali name of mighty the Mt. Everest, with bounty of nature and cultural heritages. In the year 2017, likeminded photography clubs of Nepal formed a body named as 'International Photography of Nepal' (IPN) to preach and development of photography in the country. IPN is the only national body of Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP) in Nepal. IPN conducts salons, workshops, free competitions and guided photo tours in Nepal. IPN also offers distinctions to the photo artists and recognition to the salon/circuits.
